The privacy policy is a legal agreement in which all personal details are gathered and how the application collects data, how we use this information and how we keep user's data safe and secure. Please go through our privacy policy to get an understanding of how we handle user's data under our application.


What personal information do we collect?

Triftel collects some information from users to provide a better experience in our application.

We collect details like Name, Contact number, Email, Password and other details to make use of the application in a better way. If you do not provide these details you cannot create an account on Triftel. You can also add your profile picture which will be a 3D touch view.


How do we use your information?

The information which we have is used to operate, provide, improve, understand and market our application. We also ask for customer's ratings and reviews.


Message storage detail:

Your messages are stored in an encrypted form on your local device and then on our servers until not received from the receiver side.


End-to-end encryption:

We provide end-to-end encryption for your personal messages. It means that your messages are encrypted between the sender and the receiver. Thus, making it impossible for any third person/entity to read it during the transmission.


Permissions:

We always ask permission from users to allow access to your location, contacts, gallery, send notifications, video call, voice call, camera etc.


Status privacy:

You may give permission to other users to download your story, if you are uploading one to your profile. Your story remains secure with us, until someone forwards it as a message.


Updates to our privacy policy:

We have the right to update our privacy policy at any given point in time. We will provide you the notice whenever there is an update in the policy. We also provide the last modified date, so we request you to check our policy from time to time.


Data transparency:

Data transparency is our highest priority. Our security system with data encryption doesn't allow storing your data with any other person except for yourself.


Profile privacy:

We assure you that your profile screen is safe with us. We do not share your profile screen with anyone. We do not show your profile screen to the person who is added to your block list.


Private chat:

One of the best and unique forms of secrecy is the pin protected private chat in our application. Private chat mode is a pin protected chat mode which also provides time based auto deletion of messages between sender and receiver. It means based on user requirement they can set time after that the conversation gets deleted from your device as well as our servers.


Storage privacy:

We essentially require that so our providers can protect the information from unauthorized access or any disclosure.


Manage information:

We manage all your personal information and it is kept confidential and not shared with others or any third party. We have the responsibility to make our users feel comfortable while sharing their personal information on our application. We make sure to protect our user's data.


User report information:

User reports are included in this. Just like if you report other users or any third party, the same way others also choose to report to us for your interactions with them on our application. Whenever we shall receive any report, we shall collect information from both users and take necessary steps.


Location Information:

We collect and use precise location information from your device with your permission when you choose to use location-related features, like when you decide to share your location with your contacts or view locations nearby or locations others have shared with you.


User Reports:

Just as you can report other users, other users may also choose to report to us your interactions or your messages with them or others on our platform; for example, to report possible violations of our Terms or policies. When a user is reported, we collect information on both the reporting user and reported user to find out more about what happens when a user report is made.


No Third-Party Banner Ads:

We still do not allow third-party banner ads on our platform. We have no intention to introduce them, but if we ever do, we will update this Privacy Policy.


Send Your Information To Those With Whom You Choose To Communicate:

You share your information (including messages) as you use and communicate through our platform.


Services Settings:

You can change your Services settings to manage certain information available to other users. You can manage your contacts, groups, and broadcast lists, or use our “block” feature to manage your contact list.


Revisions to the Privacy Policy:

We have the right to update our privacy policy at any given point in time. But when we do, we'll let you know one way or another. Sometimes, we'll let you know by revising the date at the top of the Privacy Policy that's available on our website and mobile application. Other times, we may provide you with additional notice by providing you with an in-app notification.
